My New Years resolution was to bake more. I haven’t really been following this through, however with shows like ‘The Great British Bake Off’ & ‘Rachel Allen:Bake’ I have a renewed interest! I tried making scones the other night & shock horror they were yum. Smothering it in my mothers amazing homemade strawberry jam however definitely helped! For an idiot...

We did it! Moss Cottage has been shortlisted for the ‘Best Shops in Ireland’ list by The Irish Times magazine! I was up very early this morning after a sleepless night, raced up to the 24hr garage ( I thought 6am a decent hour!) to get my paper & literally danced around the forecourt like a 3 year old! Woke my parents immediately with a phone call ‘We made the Top 50!’....
